General Crew (Seasonal)

Great for college students who need a job while home for the summer.  General Crew are regularly responsible for:

  • Posting notification signs
  • Assisting with vegetation surveys
  • Water sampling
  • Shoreline restoration projects
  • Biological augmentation treatments
  • Much more!

General Crew must have excellent verbal skills because they will interact daily with customers.  They must also be able to lift 50 pounds, swim, work outdoors, and pass a drug test and background check.

Certified Aquatic Applicator (Seasonal)

Great for college students who need a job while home for the summer.  Certified Applicators have the same responsibilities as the general crew, along with:

  • Being required to pass two MDARD certification exams
  • Designing customized treatment plans for ponds and lakes
  • Mixing and applying products at the time of treatment
  • Driving company trucks and boats

Certified Applicators must have basic computer skills and excellent verbal skills because they will interact daily with customers.  They must also be able to lift 50 pounds, swim, work outdoors, and pass a drug test and background check.

Truxor Operator (Seasonal)

Great for college students who need a job while home for the summer.  Truxor Operator have the same responsibilities as the general crew, along with:

  • Operating the LakePro Truxor
  • Performing routine maintenance on the Truxor
  • Driving company vehicles

Truxor Operators must have excellent verbal skills because they will interact daily with customers.  A basic understanding of machinery is preferable.  They must also be able to lift 50 pounds, swim, work outdoors, and pass a drug test and background check.

Maintenance Technician (Seasonal)

Great for college students who need a job while home for the summer.  Maintenance Technicians have the same responsibilities as the general crew, along with:

  • Performing regular maintenance on outboard engines, water pumps, boat trailers, and light duty trucks
  • Designing, building, and repairing fixtures for application equipment
  • Driving company vehicles

Maintenance Technicians must have basic computer skills and excellent verbal skills.  A basic understanding of small engine repair is preferable.  They must also be able to lift 50 pounds, swim, work outdoors, and pass a drug test and background check.

Aquatic Biologist (Full-Time)

Great for college graduates with a degree in Natural Resources.  Aquatic Biologists have the same responsibilities as the Certified Applicators, along with:

  • Conducting vegetation surveys and processing the data into treatment plans
  • Laboratory testing of water samples for a variety of parameters
  • Writing water quality reports, lake management plans, and year-end compliance reports
  • Attending customer meetings to sell and support our services
  • Driving company vehicles

Aquatic Biologists must have advanced computer skills and excellent verbal skills.  A basic understanding of plant biology, chemistry, and business management is preferable.  They must also be able to lift 50 pounds, swim, work outdoors, and pass a drug test and background check.

Administrative Staff (Part-Time)

Great for college graduates with a degree in Business Administration.  Our Administrative Staff is responsible for:

  • Daily correspondence with clients
  • Scheduling services over the course of a summer
  • Writing contracts, permit applications, and year-end compliance reports
  • Internal record keeping
  • Marketing and sales of new accounts (with commission!)

Administrative Staff must have advanced computer skills and excellent verbal skills.  A basic understanding of office management and biology is preferable.  They must also be able to pass a drug test and background check.
