LakePro, Inc. currently employs three year-round, full-time employees. Each employee is experienced in every aspect of LakePro’s work – from Consulting, pesticide applications, drafting contracts, applying for annual permits and customer service. This means that each customer has three managers available to provide a professional response they can trust.
Paul J. Dominick, A.K.A.- Capt. D
Director/President
Paul functions as customer service manager, technical advisor, and operations manager. He brings 17 years of business experience in the field of aquatic nuisance control, pesticide applications, environmental monitoring and customer care. Paul established LakePro, Inc. in 2000. Prior to forming LakePro, Inc. Paul received his B.F.A. from Northern Michigan University in 1998. Paul is Graduate of the Lakes and Streams Institute class of 2005, 2007 certificate holder in watershed management, a member of the Mid West Aquatic Plant Society, North American Lakes and Plant Society, Aquatic Plant Management Society and Michigan NALMS. In his free-time or during off season, Paul enjoys Weight Lifting, Hockey, Traveling and spending time with his wife and 3 children.

Christina M. Dominick
Vice President
Christina joined LakePro, Inc. in 2003, bringing a diversity of experience from corporate and state middle management, sales, advertising and marketing. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Michigan University obtained in 1997. Christina’s brings experience in human resources and employee management. In her free-time, Christina enjoys reading, health and fitness, Camping and playing with her 3 children.
Brent T. Call, A.K.A.- Ace
Marketing and Customer Relations Manager
Brent has worked in the aquatic industry since 2002. His 8 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. He earned his B.S. in Management from Ferris State University in 1987. He earned his MBA from Northwood University in 2001. Brent directs the management and marketing operations of LakePro, including employee training programs, Marketing plans and activities, and new market research programs. He also handles treatment plans, client work shops, and speaks at association meetings. Brent is a graduate of the Michigan Lakes and Streams Leadership institute. He has also been nominated for a position in the Midwest Aquatic Plant Management Society. Brent was awarded certificates from the USEPA for watershed management training and from the USGS for Canadian geese data collection. In his free-time, Brent enjoys raising his five children, Golf and hunting.
Peter Filpansick, A.K.A.- Dr. Phil
Environmental Biologist
Peter has worked in the aquatic industry since 2004. His 6 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. He earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan in 2007. Peter directs the scientific operations of LakePro, including water quality monitoring programs, algae identification, and Alum treatment programs. He also handles permits from application to year-end report, contracts, and treatment schedules. In his free-time, Peter enjoys golf and boating.
LakePro also employs 6 college students during the treatment season to complete our 4 crews. Each crew consists of a Service Field Specialist, two operation applicators, a light-duty truck, and a fiberglass boat equipped with chemical distribution equipment.
Zach Goodheart, A.K.A- Algae Destroyer
Customer Service Field Specialist
Zach has worked in the aquatic industry since 2005. His 5 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. Zach is attending University of Michigan Flint, senior status and is majoring in Communications. In his free-time, Zach enjoys Sports and Hunting.
Nicholas Pettit, A.K.A.- Twig
Customer Service Field Specialist
Nick has worked in the aquatic industry since 2006. His 4 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. Nick is attending Lawrence Technological University, junior status and is majoring in Civil Engineering. In his free-time, Nick enjoys Art, Photography, and Mapping.
Geoff Moore, A.K.A- Smurf
Aquatic Field Specialist
Geoff has worked in the aquatic industry since 2007. His 3 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. Geoff is attending University of Michigan Flint, junior status and is majoring in Public Relations. In his free-time, Geoff enjoys playing guitar, drums, piano, snowboarding, and video games..
Derek Call, A.K.A- Moose
Field Operation Specialist
Derek has worked in the aquatic industry since 2007. His 3 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. and Aquatic Nuisance Control. Derek is attending Northern Michigan University, sophomore status and is majoring in Marketing and Public Relations. In his free-time, Derek enjoys ultimate frisbee and gaming.
Leon Lavene, A.K.A.- Navigator
Aquatic Applicator
Lee has worked in the aquatic industry since 2008. His 2 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. Lee is attending University of Michigan Flint, sophomore status and is majoring in Civil Engineering. In his free-time, Lee enjoys sports, hunting and mud bogging.
Jimmy Mackie, A.K.A- MAC
Aquatic Applicator/Mechanic
Jim has worked in the aquatic industry since 2008. His 2 years of experience have been with LakePro, Inc. Jim is a master in the coronary arts and fixing cars. In his free-time, Jim enjoys fast cars, gaming (xbox) and UFC.
